CNet recently speculated that Microsoft’s project Natal is almost certainly the culmination of Microsoft’s purchase of 3DV Systems.
This makes a lot of sense– the Israeli based  3DV and Microsoft have been rumoured to be working on a relationship to take on the Wii for quite some time.
