Project Natal Paint Demonstration
June 3rd, 2009 adminHere’s an interesting demo of a paint program on Project Natal.
In this (slightly) functional paint program, the user sort of “splashes” paint buckets on to a canvas. It doesn’t exactly seem like a precise way to do a canvas painting– no one is going to paint a Van Gogh using this– but it does give a pretty cool indication of just how well the Natal can interact with a person.
The Natal really seems to build on the Wii’s success here. It adds voice support (he changes colors using his voice) and augments the Wii controller by turning an entire human body into the controller. Very cool.
